2pm-6pm - Take advantage of this afternoon to visit Louis Pasteur's birthplace and the two temporary exhibitions: "Sport and Science" and "From Scientist to Researcher, Figures from Yesterday to Today", free of charge.
4pm - Meeting and signing session with Lorraine Joly, clinical psychologist and author of the "Raphaël" collection
The collection, published by Éditions Universitaires de Dijon, is now 10 years old. 10 years and 10 volumes retracing the fantastico-scientific adventures of Raphaël.
Each book is written in partnership with leading scientists: the aim is to fictionalise current research on the topics covered. The books are aimed at children aged 8 and over, but adults may also be interested in learning about a variety of research topics in a simple way, or in finding the right words to explain these complex subjects to their children.
5pm - Lecture by Jacky Faivre. "Louis Pasteur, the child of the forgotten vine".
From the age of three to seven, Louis Pasteur grew up in Marnoz. It was here that his first memories were forged of a country life where nature was omnipresent. Louis Pasteur never forgot his Jura roots, nor the wine of Marnoz, to which he often referred during his studies on wine diseases, around 1863, at the age of forty. The account given by Jacky Faivre, author of the book Louis Pasteur au pays de Salins, is therefore essential to understanding the exceptional career of the most illustrious of Jura scientists!
6pm - Laying of wreaths followed by speeches
