FIQ ! (Réveille-toi !)

Brought together by the borderless language of acrobatics, the performers of the Groupe Acrobatique de Tanger come from a kaleidoscope of practices: traditional and modern floor acrobatics, dance, break, taekwendo and footfreestyle (a discipline that involves performing figures using a ball). With an intoxicating sound set and a pop visual atmosphere designed by Hassan Hajjaj, a photographic artist nicknamed "Marrakesh's Andy Warhol", a hail of figures, slides, colours and ideas descends on the stage. It's hardly surprising to find Maroussia Diaz Verbèke, a talented circus artist who is also an expert in rope work and acrobatics, directing such an artistic comet. With her babouche, head spins, text messages, humour, dexterity and choreography, she tells us all about the Morocco of today. FIQ! is a pressure cooker disguised as a circus, whose irregular whistle imitates the whirling vitality of a spicy youth built on dialogue and difference.
