TOUT-MOUN

After Akzak, l'impatience d'une jeunesse reliée, Héla Fattoumi and Éric Lamoureux continue to intertwine imaginary worlds by celebrating the abundant thought of Édouard Glissant, the Martinican poet, writer and philosopher, and a leading figure in creolisation. TOUT-MOUN, the Creole translation of "everyone, everyone, everyone", an idea dear to the writer, brings together ten performers, six women and four men, from different backgrounds: Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, France, Spain, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, the Caribbean... Together, they have worked on the rhythms, sounds and mother tongues of each. In a polyphony of breaths, playing with twisted fabrics and lianas and accompanied by a saxophonist, the dancers project the energy of their differences in a choral dance that resembles chaos; a dance of otherness, a kind of conversation between bodies, erected as a bulwark against intolerance.
