Take a guided tour with a member of the Société des Amis de Pasteur to find out more about the life and work of the scientist.
Using objects and personal documents, the house where he was born shows how Louis Pasteur, a child of Dole, became the world-famous scientist par excellence. The museum celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2023. As the first museum dedicated to Pasteur in France, the house where he was born played a central role in the creation of the Pasteurian legend. The visit includes family and personal souvenirs of the scientist, his pastels from his adolescence, his laboratory instruments, his scientific work and his disciples.
